Everything started in 2015, when Stelios, Giorgos and a group of friends arrived in this charming seaside town searching for the perfect wind and open waters. The magic of the spot and the adrenaline of the sport sparked an idea and one year later, WindCircus was born: a laid-back kitesurfing school, rental service and shop offering top-quality equipment.
Ten years later, we’re still here and we love the sport more than ever.
For a few summers, Stelios and George juggled their time between Athens and Nafpaktos, running WindCircus seasonally. Each summer, we welcomed more and more local and international kitesurfers, and before long, what started as a seasonal thing turned into a vibrant, year-round business. Now, ten years later, we’re proud to call Nafpaktos home and welcome over 150 students each year.
George runs the show on the ground, handling everything from the school to the shop. His passion for kitesurfing and dedication to offering personalized instruction make him the beating heart of WindCircus. Stelios, our logistics wizard, ensures the business stays on track, handling everything behind the scenes. In 2024, Tomasz joined our crew, bringing his tech and marketing magic. Thanks to him, our online presence has soared, and we’re reaching kitesurfers all across Europe.

George is the first founder of Wind Circus and currently permanently residing in Nafpaktos with his family. After 10 years he is still in love with the sport and constantly tries to evolve the sport of kitesurfing in the area.
Tomasz is the newest member who is currently based in Amsterdam. He is mainly focused on the tech side of things with an aspirational goal to relocate to Nafpaktos permanently in the near future. Also a passionate kitesurfing vlogger.
Konstantinos is originally from Nafpaktos and, after many years abroad, returned to dedicate himself to his dream. Beyond kitesurfing, he has a strong passion for snowboarding and climbing.
